This is how a typical Malay house would look. Location: Taman Tengku Anis, Tumpat, Kelantan

Above: This is the 'Wakaf" a Malay name for a hut or rest place. It is commonly found near the Paddy fields, and now a days it also named after a place such as Wakaf Baharu, my home place.

I love the house. It looks airy and the palms in the front yard are so nice. It's a beautiful house and you took good photos.
Thanks for sharing.
KB: That certainly is a neat house in Malaysia.
A typical house? Wow that's gorgeous.
it's very pretty, the photo and the house itself.

Great photos and the house is beautiful; so nice and interesting architecture style!
Really beautiful house and interesting architecture - nice pics of it.
The roof structure is interesting, I like that.
I think that may be a typical Malay family home of a rich family.
Last time we went through Malaysia we saw many more quite different homes.
You are right Arija, this is a house of a rich at "Taman" or garden, some sort of exhibition home I think.
KBGuy may show more 'typical' ordinary home at Kelantan, Malaysia.
Anyway great picture.
so tranquil and serene...
thank you for sharing your part of the world with all of us.
have a wonderful week.

What a beautiful (and big) house! I love the resting place, too. And the lawns are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
Good day sir. Kbguy, thats not a typical house in malaysia. On rich people can have a house like that. Its expensive to built that kind of house, with all that intricate carving, btw i really love the roof structure of this one. And this one is probably not a house at all.
Lovely house. This house is based on traditional Malaysian architecture particularly state of Kelantan. Of course it is newly bulit and carries the modern look.
